Before you install
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit).
- About ≈ 241 MB of free space for the current installer, plus space for your saved replays. See system requirements.
- An internet connection only to download the installer. Replayable itself works and records fully offline.
Install steps
- Go to the download page and download the latest Replayable installer.
- Verify the download if you like — the download page shows the exact SHA-256 checksum for each release. This confirms the file you received matches what was published.
- Open the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen steps. The installer handles the required dependencies automatically. You can choose where the application is installed.
- Launch Replayable from the Start menu or the shortcut created during installation. On first launch it starts capturing your screen and audio into the replay buffer automatically.
Your data during install, update and uninstall
Saved replays are stored separately from the application — by default in your Documents folder (see storage locations). Installing, updating or reinstalling Replayable does not remove your saved replays or your settings.
Updating Replayable
Replayable can update itself. When an update is available, the app downloads and verifies the new files against the published checksums before applying them. You can also always grab the latest installer from the download page.
Uninstalling
Uninstall Replayable the same way as any Windows app: open Settings → Apps (or the Start menu) and choose Uninstall for Replayable. Your saved replays in the replay folder are left untouched.
