Capture starts immediately
When Replayable launches it begins keeping your recent screen and system audio in a rolling buffer — no recording button needed. Old footage is continuously overwritten so memory stays low.
Replay duration
Set how many seconds of the recent buffer a replay should include. The supported range is 15 to 120 seconds. On the free version the buffer is capped at 30 seconds; longer buffers up to 120 seconds are available with Replayable Pro.
Capture frame rate
Choose the screen capture frame rate within the supported range. Higher frame rates give smoother footage and use more CPU and memory. The free version records up to 30 FPS; Pro unlocks up to 60 FPS.
Audio sources
System audio and your microphone are captured separately, so you can control them independently:
- System audio — the audio coming out of your PC. Toggle it on or off.
- Microphone — your voice, toggle it on or off and choose an audio sample rate.
- If the wrong device is selected, pick the correct input or output device in settings.
Save location
By default replays are saved to Documents\Replayable\replays (in video and audio subfolders). You can choose any folder you like in settings. See storage locations.
Hotkeys and notifications
The default shortcuts are Ctrl + Shift + V (video replay), Ctrl + Shift + A (audio replay) and Ctrl + Shift + R (toggle the overlay). All three are changeable in settings, and optional on-save notifications can be enabled. See keyboard shortcuts.
Save a test replay
After setup, press your video hotkey once. Replayable encodes the buffered footage into an MP4 and adds it to your replay history — a quick way to confirm everything works before you rely on it mid-game.
